Melanie Mace, Psy.D.

Dr. Mace, a native of Downeast Maine, obtained a PsyD in 2007 from Argosy University in Washington, D.C.  She completed a neuropsychology and rehabilitation internship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York and a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the Hartford Hospital and Institute of Living in Hartford, Connecticut prior to joining Neuropsychology Service in 2011.  She has trained extensively in the areas of dementia, brain injury, cerebrovascular disease, geriatric neuropsychology, the cognitive consequences of general medical conditions, and cognitive rehabilitation and specializes in the evaluation of adolescents, adults, and older adults with a range of neurological, medical, and psychiatric disorders.  She has interests in concussion management and forensic neuropsychology, as well as psychological and behavioral adjustment to major medical events.
